Getting There - By Car:
From A1(M) – Leave the A1(M) at Junction 62 and join the A690 heading towards Sunderland. At the junction of the A690 with the A19 turn left to join the A19 heading north towards the Tyne Tunnel. After crossing the River Wear turn right on to the A1231 towards Sunderland. After approximately 3 miles the Stadium of Light will be visible on your right.
By Rail:
The Stadium of Light is about a 15-minute walk from Sunderland station going over the Wearmouth Bridge. The nearest metro station on the Tyne-Wear Metro is St Peters Metro a 5-minute walk from the ground.
